TIFFANY LARSEN

I have been working in outdoor retail sales since 2010; my professional passion of merchandising and selling product complements my passion for outdoor recreation. I love connecting with people; customers, coworkers, friends!

Currently, I am an Apparel Buyer for a local bike/ski shop in Bend, Oregon.  I absolutely love the connection between selecting an optimal assortment for our shop as well as analyzing sales data and trends to fulfill our customer's needs and to maximize our sales and margins.

​

I spent seven years working at REI working every position possible: cashier, sales associate, floor lead, visual specialist position, retail sales manager.  I have managed annual inventory counts, traveled to open new retail stores, trained and managed staff- new and veteran.  I spent two years working at the PatagoniaBend retail store with multiple positions: supervisor, social media coordinator, and visual merchandiser.

I also worked on the Commerce Team at  Outside Inc.  Even though I worked on the Operations Team, I wore many hats: from customer management to product and inventory management to buyer tasks just to name a few.  I have assisted with our social media platforms and manage projects associated with the acquisition of our former company, Cairn.

From 2012 to 2014, I served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay. I was an environmental conservation volunteer and worked on several projects: fruit tree grafting, building brick wood-fired ovens, and planting green manures for sustainable agriculture.

On any given day you will find me as I am in the picture above.  Big smile, outside, and loving life.  I am a passionate climber, and dabble in all other sports: cycling, mountain biking, bikepacking, nordic skiing, snowboarding, fly fishing, glamping... if it is under the sun and stars, I'll be there!
